HelpSetMaker does show projects in the project subwindows. Each project has its own subwindow. HelpSetMaker can load several project windows at once.
Project window overview
The project window consists of seven parts:
On top, a menu bar allows operations on the project.
On the left, the project's document tree allows to arrange the pages the documentation consists of, to create and remove documents and to select one of the documents for editing.
On top in the middle, the STML editor allows to work on the current document of the helpset.
On the right, the editor's presentation pane shows how the document will look like in HTML-based presentations.
The bottom of the project window is occupied by the image library. On the left, the directory tree for the images is shown.
On the bottom right, the contents of the currently selected image directory are shown and can be dragged into the document.
Finally, even below the image library at the bottom of each window, a status line is available. Here, export routines will print their results and generally, messages are passed to the user.
